Attention! Fraud Alert

Protect yourself from financial fraud!

Financial scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated – they may call, text, email, or pretend to be employees of your bank, public authorities, or even your family members. Their goal is to access your money or your internet bank, payment cards, or personal information.

Remember – your bank will never ask you to provide login details, codes or passwords by phone or email!
If someone does – it’s a fraud attempt! End the conversation immediately and report the incident to the police. Please also notify the bank by email at or by phone: +371 6701 9393.

Be cautious when receiving suspicious calls or messages that urge you to make payments, install software, or click on links to enter your data. Scammers often create a false sense of urgency or danger – don’t fall for it.

You can find more information and practical advice on the Finance Latvia Association’s website: www.neuzkeries.lv, as well as in the Latvijas Banka Money School publication (in easy-to-read format): “How to protect yourself and your money from fraudsters?” (brochure available in Latvian).
