Aleksejs Prokofjevs elected to join the Board of Directors at Industra Bank, succeeding the former board member Guntars Reidzāns, who decided to pursue his career outside of Industra Bank.
Jurijs Adamovičs, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Industra Bank, acknowledges, "First and foremost, I want to express gratitude to Guntars Reidzāns for his valuable contribution to the bank's development. His experience in corporate banking has significantly contributed to the transformation process of Industra Bank - towards a bank focused on the needs of business clients, towards a bank that is already considered a competitor and is increasingly chosen by Latvian businesses as a financial partner. We thank Guntars for our shared achievements and wish him success in his future professional path."
"At the same time, I am pleased to welcome Aleksejs Prokofjevs to the bank's leadership. Aleksejs is an internationally experienced investment banker of Latvian origin, who has held leading positions in the UK and Switzerland in such systematically important financial institutions including UBS and Barclays. Aleksejs's energy and versatile knowledge will be very significant in achieving our goals and transitioning to a qualitatively new level," he continues, informing about the changes in the composition of the Board of Directors at Industra Bank.
A member of the Board of Directors at Industra Bank, Aleksejs Prokofjevs, emphasizes: "The rapid development of Industra Bank is the validation of a strategy focused on Latvian companies. However, this is just the beginning. I am excited about the opportunity to use my knowledge and relationships acquired in leading financial and technological companies worldwide to help Industra Bank realize its tremendous potential."
Thus, the Board of Directors at Industra Bank will continue to operate with four members - in addition to Jurijs Adamovičs and Aleksejs Prokofjevs, Deputy Chairman of the Board Andis Kļaviņš and Board member Ivars Grunte will continue their work.
