Industra employees cover 16,000 kilometres on foot

Over the course of one month, Industra Bank employees walked more than 16,000 kilometres as part of a healthy lifestyle challenge.

From 3 July to 2 August, Industra Bank employees participated in a month-long walking challenge aimed at promoting physical activity and well-being. The initiative brought together 76 colleagues from various departments across the bank, who collectively covered an impressive 22,473,962 steps – equivalent to approximately 16,117 kilometres.

“With this initiative, we wanted to encourage employees to incorporate more movement into their daily routine and to foster a sense of unity by working towards a shared goal. The challenge turned out to be a truly positive experience – it provided energy and extra motivation to keep moving,” says Agija Freiberga, Head of Human Resources at Industra Bank.

This is just one of the ways Industra Bank supports employee well-being – further initiatives focused on health, balance and team spirit are planned in the future.
