Changes to communication languages and a new version of the General Terms and Conditions

We would like to inform you that a new version of Industra Bank’s General Terms and Conditions will enter into force on 30 September 2026. Among other changes, they specify the languages in which the Bank’s digital channels, documents intended for clients and written communications will be available from the end of September.

In accordance with the requirements of the Credit Institution Law, Industra Bank’s digital channels, documents and written communications with clients in Latvia will in future be provided in Latvian. They will also be available in English.

This means that from the end of September:

  • the Bank’s website will be available in Latvian and English;
  • the online banking and mobile app interfaces will be available in Latvian and English;
  • agreements, price lists, terms and conditions, and information materials intended for clients will be provided in Latvian and English;
  • at the client’s request, Russian or another language understood by both parties may be used for verbal consultations or individual free-form correspondence.

We invite you to review the new version of the General Terms and Conditions (in Latvian only, translation  will be provided soon).

Further information on the use of languages in the provision of financial services is available in the information material prepared by the Finance Latvia Association in cooperation with the Latvian State Language Centre.
